I don&#039;t say other people shouldn&#039;t wear helmets, I just don&#039;t do it in towns because I think it is a pain in the ass, and little polystyrene cycle helmets are only marginally likely to save me from harm. A better strategy is communication with other road users and I think a helmet can actually make that kind of communication harder.</description>
