that’s a stinker of a cold Jack, still a great show. Did anyone see this show last night ?:

Great show, interesting points. I think practically forcing people out of their cars is the only way.
Not unlike the show that Marc mentions above.
I saw (and blogged!), about ‘the woman who stops traffic’ last night. I couldn’t believe that level of resistance from the local councillors.
It’s a 3 part series by the way. Durham and somewhere else make up towns used.

Yes, Marc, there’s no hiding it! A real brute. But feeling a lot better now.

the velib looks quite distinctive and cute…
‘the woman who stops traffic’ was excellent and the progress she made in the town was amazing. it just shows as a nation we are very lazy. driving 1m into town is exceeding lazy!!!

Think the idea of cycling in London is great but not as practical in my area as it’s just all motorways and roundabouts!
London and all major cities needs to be car free in lots of areas and cycles seem to be the obvious answer… more to the point it screws the congestion charge and that berk Ken Livinstone!

I thoroughly enjoyed this show, as I do all of them.
Folks might be interested in downloading Price Tags http://www.pricetags.ca/pricetags/pricetags101.pdf
which is entirely devoted to Paris Velib. Nice pics
