Resonance On Air Fundraising Weekend

Tune in this weekend and support us when Resonance104.4fm celebrates its 8th anniversary with a Fund Raising Birthday Marathon on Saturday 1st May and Sunday 2nd May 2010, noon to midnight each day. Anchored by Jonny Trunk (Saturday) and Bob & Roberta Smith (Sunday) with special guests dropping in throughout the weekend, we’re setting aside 24 hours to raise funds to help secure our licence for another five years. We need your support! We will be auctioning one hundred exclusive and wonderful items and experiences on-air and on-line: tune in and bid – and help us continue! Or set up a standing order to become a Friend of Resonance – or just send us a donation of any size.

Resonance has a hundred items to buy on-air or on-line, including a week in a beautiful holiday home in Ireland, a signed Rapha Condor Sharp Pro Cycling Team jersey, a Ricker Restaurants meal-for-two voucher, a bespoke racing suit by Austin Vince, a unique Annual Pass to The Vortex jazz venue, paintings by Bob & Roberta Smith, Pete Fowler, and Neda Dana-Haeri, artworks by Christian Marclay, and Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, Spoke ‘n Motion Bike Tours of London, a conversation wth Dr John, a work out with Enigma and Doom from “Gladiators,” the Little Atoms Signed Library, a wood themed day with Carlos Slazenger, an exclusive Judy Nylon audio work, a box of discs from Finders Keepers Records, a Charlemagne Palestine chimera soft toy, a Sounds of The Universe Bag, a tour of a hidden Parisian underground quarry, Scratch Orchestra archival memorabilia, Stewart Lee signed DVDs, Frank Key rarities, a consultation with a leading City Financial Expert, a Rough Trade Shops 10% discount card, plus numerous exclusive and special recordings, books, works of art and other experiences…

Hey no wonder I was into a good deal last year. If I had only figured out sooner those guys were responsible for giving out nice travel accommodations I should have joined them in their cause.
